2. Assateague Island National Seashore
Assateague Island is a beautiful place to explore, whether you’re taking a solo excursion or looking for a group activity to enjoy with friends. The roads are lined with about six total miles of protected bike paths, making bicycles a great way to get around as you take in the sights. There’s no entrance fee if you ride into the National Park while on a bicycle, and there’s plenty of space in the F-150’s pickup bed to load your own. If you don’t have your own, it only costs $12 per adult to rent one at the Visitor Center at 11802 Marsh View Lane in Berlin.
3. Ocean City Scavenger Hunt
How about a scenic adventure and a scavenger hunt all in one? The nontraditional Ocean City Scavenger Hunt starts at a beloved scenic spot, where you’ll receive a digital quest from a live, remote host you’ll interact with throughout the adventure. The quest leads you to carefully curated locations around the town while you solve clues, accept new challenges, and step outside your comfort zone. The adventure alternates between indoor and outdoor locations, all of which are family and dog-friendly. The game begins outside the Ocean City Visitor Center at 4001 Coastal Highway, and tickets cost $27 per adult, though you might be able to snag them on sale for as low as $21.60.
4. The Salisbury Zoo
